My name is Kris Perry. I am a web developer (PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, CSS) specializing in developing a web presence for small-business, tourism/property services, and blog/content management systems (WordPress, Joomla!). I am currently available for consultation, planning, development, hosting, site & search engine optimization, and am welcoming new projects.

I deliver engaging database driven masterpieces ;-) I create these masterpieces using the programming language of PHP, as well as a myriad of software and tools. I also am familiar with third-party content management systems(cms) such as Joomla! or WordPress if your into that kinda thing. They can really streamline the development process - and give the user full control over making their own updates.

Adobe (formerly Macromedia) flash truly has been a powerful force to hit the internet. With it came the ability to create... just about anything. Media-rich interactive applications and games can be a great way to visually engage your audience and bypass arbitrary web-standard layouts and processes. I do offer flash services but would like to emphasize that I prefer to keep flash elements to a minimum.

Developed in PHP/MySQL, this web application was created for a 3D multimedia company to easily upload and distribute files to clients for download at their leisure. In addition to distributing content, the administrator of this application can also create/modify client accounts, view client login statistics, and send properly formatted emails with appropriate links + login instructions to clients.

Developed in PHP/MySQL, this website for an Alberta based company that manufactures oil and gas-related products, serves as an online catalogue for information on a myriad of products and services offered by four different sibling companies.
Within the website are many custom features. Most notably is a algorithm which rates product/service relevance, and in turn, displays “related links” which the user may be interested in – based on the user’s selections when navigating the site.

This website (now decommissioned) was developed in PHP/MySQL for an Edmonton-based electrical company. I chose to include it because I would like to demo it’s administration features – in which the admin can post/manage current projects and upload job photos for the photo gallery.

Developed in PHP/MySQL, this website serves as an online catalogue for an antique auto dealer. Through a simple user-friendly administration section, the administrator of this site can personally update their own website, adding vehicle photos, descriptions and prices etc.
Also included are many custom features, such as a “browse inventory” feature. With this the user can quickly sort through the entire inventory of vehicles prioritizing by characteristics such as make, model, or price. The website generates it’s own revenue through google ads.

Developed in PHP/MySQL, this web application is used to keep track of employee work-hours, as well as billable hours to clients.
The way is works is at the end of every work day, employees login and enter their project, task, hours and brief work descriptions for all material they’ve worked on for that day. The employers can then in turn administer functions with this data such as generating employee timesheet reports or project progress/summary reports. Reports are processed on the web server and saved in pdf format. The pdf can then in turn be printed or saved to disk for delivery to the client.
